Linda Robinson: Poetry from the Plinth
On 26 August 2009, Teesside writer Linda Robinson will be reading a selection of poetry from her upcoming book, Words and Pictures, which she has collaborated on with local landscape photographer David Tarn, whilst she is on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, London. This is part of Antony Gormley's One and Other 100-day art installation.
Between 3pm and 4pm, Linda will be reading a number of poems, including Steel River, which has attracted media attention on Teesside due to its relevance to the current economically precarious position of the local Corus Steelworks.
