Intro to Creative Writing
Inspirational exercises and techniques to bring out and improve your creative writing skill with fun visual, audio and written stimuli. Covers prose, poetry,playwrighting and scriptwriting skills over four full day workshops to get you going on a piece/pieces for final reflection and hand in. Mondays 9.30 - 4.30 from 29th June (10 credits)

Regional writing
Fun and fascinating creative course exploring writing out of location, place based and memory mapping exercises to write fiction, poems, autobiography and travel writing. Texts looked at as models include work by Seamus Heaney, Pat Barker, David Almond, Jonathon Tulloch, Jack Kerouac, Sean O' Brien and Stephen King. Mondays 9.30 am - 4.30 pm from Mon 27th june (10 credits)
