Poet Paul Batchelor hosts a workshop asking why poets invent a character or a persona to speak with the ‘I’ voice in a poem, and what the advantages of doing so are. Attendees will begin by looking at some interesting examples of personae poems and then move on to writing exercises that will develop their own poetry. Price: £45 (£35 concs).
